I was a computer science major who received bachelor's and master's degrees from National Chiao Tung University. As a graduate student, I concentrated on computer graphics because of my interest in both science and art. My thesis concerned a method of rendering three-dimensional models in a simulated Chinese painting style. The results of my thesis were published at WSCG2002 and IWAIT2002, and awarded the best paper of the year. Here is an introduction about my thesis.

For the past three years, I've worked at Advance and Innovation Center in Ulead Systems, Inc., a global multimedia software company, as a supervisor engineer. My interests and duties included researching, designing and developing methods for digital media processing, especially for 3D and animation, video editing, digital imaging, and visual content filtering. I analyzed, for commercial purpose, industrial techniques and products. My recent studies focused on multimedia-related technology, including non-photorealistic rendering, automatically video editing, particle system, texture synthesis, MPEG-7, etc. In these topics I have applied for four patents for my inventions.
